Indy (she/her) holds an M.A. in Education, is a Certified Executive Coach (PCC) and also has advanced training in neuroscience and team/systems coaching. She is also an educator and facilitator with over 25 years of expertise, committed to inclusive leadership, building equitable teams and creating cultures of belonging. She takes a relational, mindful and compassionate approach to her work that focuses on individual and systemic culture shift.
Drawing on her extensive experience in higher education and coaching and consulting in a variety of sectors, including corporate, not-for-profit, financial, health care, community and government, Indy has successfully contributed innovative approaches that helped operationalize values, improved performance and processes and clarified perspectives and strategies aligned with client goals. Integrating the art & science of coaching and facilitation, clients experience increased focus & clarity, more effective decision-making, improved stress management and more sophisticated thinking and creativity. They leave with the ability to influence change at all levels – personal, interpersonal, team and organizational – so that they can move things forward with increased motivation and meaning. At SFU, Indy is an instructor and coach in the Executive Leadership certificate program, collaborated with a dynamic team in developing and then teaching in the new Leadership Essentials certificate program, and is currently embarking on developing a new equity informed leadership program for an outside provincial organization. At UBC, she is an instructor in the EDI and Anti-Racism certificate and a Mentor-Coach in the prestigious Certificate in Organizational Coaching program. She is also the Director of ikb Coaching & Consulting.
Leading in dynamic, complex and uncertain times requires a different set of tools. Indy has training in Deep Diversity®, Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), and mindfulness. She is a certified Neuroscience, Consciousness and Transformational Coach and is also certified to administer Emotional Intelligence (EQi-2.0), Power Intelligence® (DPI) and Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) assessments.
Indy identifies as a racialized, immigrant settler living in the Greater Vancouver Area, the stolen traditional territories of the Coast Salish First Nations People.
